    Default mx62 brake upgrade

    ello modders,
Before i go ahead, YES, i have done searches but cant find anything

I read about the R33 calipers and BA falcon disc setup on the MX73 that is aparantly BOLT ON, no bracket required.
    1. Can this be confirmed?
    2. Will it work with the MX62?

If not, Does anyone know of any brake upgrade combinations (calipers/discs), specificly for the MX62 struts?

Any info is appriciated, thanks guys,
    J

Try searching the brake upgrade for the MA61. It'll be very similar. Someone here may then be able to tell you differences between the two.

MX62 has a 90mm calliper mounting lug spacing.

identical to the LN106 4 piston calliper.

you then could possibly follow the upgrade path of the early celicas. hilux callipers, peugot rotors, etc

    theoretically this should bolt together:
    -LN106 4 piston callipers
    -peugot 604 vented rotors
    -MX62 struts
    -XT130 or RT132 hubs

and then u can and bolt the left over MX62 discs and calipers onto your XT130 strut and hub to get vented brakes for your XT130

thats 2 birds with one stone!

I suggest bolting in RA6x / SA63 struts and then going the R33 upgrade route (I'd avoid MA61 struts due to camber...)

The RA6x / SA63 brakes are even an upgrade over the stock MX62 brakes...however make sure that you adjust the brake bias if you do fit RA6x / SA63 struts & brakes (I used the SA63 bias valve, and also master).

I put SA63 struts in my MX62 , with kings lows and 30mm RCAs I think there was ~-0.3deg camber on the fronts...

I used MA61 springs (kings lows), you will need the MA61 top spring hat to use the MA61 springs, if you want to go that way.

    Cheers
    Wilbo

Just wondering, why the xt130 hubs? will the ones iv'e got work? (mx62) If not, whats different about them?
    thanks for the help,

the rotors run a different hat height.

MX62 rotor has nearly no hat
