Any porbs with the HUGE 120 amp rating? thats like double the factory one

i'll be in my shed later, always have the camera there.

i upgraded my earth to all 4 guage wire, and have a oddessey 800cca battery, got the 120 amp for the huge sound system. never had any problems with the rest of the stock wiring system.

update

ive managed to borrow a more common 4age alternator from scott (nvd-086) and ive got it set up temporarily.

sense has gone to the thick b+ wire
lamp has gone to the yellow/white on the regulator (now disconnected)
and the 12v has gone to the coil.

is this correct? befor i can start it theres a few things (battery is fooked, on charge now)
theres 50 pound of oil pressure in there at key on!
fuel light wont go off when switched off
and my finger hurts

Now fixed

goin to convert to a camry one tomorow. Now theres nothing to stop the sexy times!

Glad you got it fixed but here's some info for the future,

AW11 GZE alternators are a Breed of there own.

They are external regulator, but even with them pulled apart, you cannot tell as they have a standard looking reg, but there is no electronics in it, it just links the brushes, the earth and the stator output to the three terminals.

The regulator they use is one of there own too, as they regulate by switching the field to earth not to power like almost all other external regulators.
The only other vehicle I know that uses this system is one version of the Diesil Liteace van.

yair its all good now, found out the camry alts are the same as the 4age alt i borrowed so it worked perfect. Even borrowed the slidy mount to cut up lol.

least we know how to replace an aw11 alternator now.
