Sounds about right to me

Says 250rpm or more for a compression test (no plugs in and throttle fully open), so about 150rpm with plugs and a throttle seems in the ball park...
Cheers

This is my first go at cranking. Just wanting to know if this is an ok rpm to be reading. Will it start at only 150 or is the vr sensor reading wrong and I need to adjust the pots?
Engine is a 22re. Running locked dizzy and direct coil control.

the old R-series motors dont crank super quickl - i concur with wilbo.
log looks good (rpm much cleaner than mine <blush>)
just check your MAT wiring or calibration as it has a weird downward spike during one of the cranking episodes.
anyway - good to hear that you're at the magical 'it runs' stage!
Yeah I just realised why its showing 70degrees. The wire wasn't grounded. Its got a separate ground that I forgot to connect to battery (same as water temp).
If you are saying that the rpm is pretty clean it shows the stock wiring is the goods. Has a grounded shield cable. Both the pots are as far anticlockwise as they can go.
Thanks for the replys guys. Can't give you rep yet chuckster.
