32's are 37mm off the top of my head aswell.
R32 GTR and R33 GTS-T that is.

My R32 GTS-T (M-Spec) Caliper pots are 37mm. They are sposed to be the same caliper as the R33 and R32 GTR but they have different length legs. I can only confirm that the 32's are 37mm. the rest is from word of mouth, a race brake shop, but still second hand and I didn't quiz them on the pot size! lol
Amichie is right guys.
Z32/R32/R33/S14/WRX Sumitomo's are 40.44mm pistons.
However, the REAR caliper pistons are ~38mm, so you may be thinking of that?

ah no. I mean the fronts. I'll take a photo with my shitty verniers some time soon.
I've measured my Z32 calipers and got 40.44mm, and I've rebuild 3 sets with the same rebuild kits.

Be sure that you arnt measuring where the rubber boot fits over the piston. Or the exposed part of the piston infront of the boot. Both of those would likely be around 37mm.

? I was measuring the OD of the metal pot in the sleave... ?
What part should you be measuring?
Well i just measured mine . At the end of the piston ( near boot groove) i got 37mm.
Without removing a piston and measuring the base of it id have to say they are 37mm
Assuming the piston is the same diameter all the way along it length and doesnt step out wider where it sits in the caliper![]()
Can any one confirm the piston is the same diameter along its length ?

My R33 pistons were stepped. I.e. the exposed part, beyond the boot, was narrower than the piston itself.
