How far 2TGEU camshafts can be reground
Hi guys, what are the maximum duration and lift that can be regrinded on the 2TGEU stock camshafts? is 304 degree possible? any body have done some race spec grinds on their stock 2TGEU camshafts, if you have please share the duration and lift and roughly what is the RPM range? Thanks guys.

i had before 300 degree cams ,they are grinded in number 220 cam , lift is about 11.5 mm .
but hks / trd cam maximum lift area is more *round* than these if dont weld more steel to the cam , and need to use really thick adjustment pads .
rpm range i dont now , because they come with one head to me , and i dont needed them so i sold them away as fast i can

If the cams are welded and hard faced they can be just about any spec you like as the lobes are made bigger before they are ground smaller. The cheaper "regrinds" have limitations on how far you can go.

Clive cams in Melbourne have TRD profiles for 305 duration cams. Tell him I sent you.
