Well that sounds like a challenge so you better get a firm date in hand so i can organize some sort of permit.

Looks like i will be bringing the new beasty.

Yeh Colin, his is nice as hey. Lot of work done. The CCG website hasnt been updated in ages though, you'd have to talk to Mitch cos im not even sure who does it. I have a few photos though, when i find them i can just post a few on here or something...

Mitch Phil Priest will be there, he said hes keen. Im making up flyers too cos there are a few guys going around that ive gotta tag, cos they've asked me before about the Celica Group. Do you know what happened to that young James guy? He drove a maroon 23 with an 18RC i think? Flared guards, had his L's on at a Nats cruise?

Im sure Grant will come too, along with some of the other regulars. Just gotta get an email out to them and im sure we'll get a crowd...

On behalf of the non-celica members - no offence taken, it didn't even make sense

Hope you guys get a good turn out for this.

Having owned classic celicas, rollas, modern celicas, RAV4 and even a corona it doesn't bother me who wants to cruise with who.

If you want to go for a cruise with just your boyfriend or get all the homos together, go for it

The important thing is that all the toyo members stay in touch so that the 'critical mass' of people is there to make events the success they have been thus far

Knock yourself out Curly. The more promo the better mate. As you know, we are a social club and as such are keen to get as many Yota fans in the CCG as possible (STILL NO CHARGE!). Phil Eacott and I started the CCG over 6 years ago based on Classic Celicas but have great interest from all Yota fans not only just the Classics. We would NEVER exclude any like minded fans from the CCG as we have such a fantastic group of guys at present with more joining on a regular basis.

BTW Grant is rebuilding his engine and this is the example I gave you last night that many of our Classics are in a constant state of repair/modification, like Tweety, so it will be hard to get everyone together in one hit. We can sure try to muster as many as possible tho.

I sent out an email last night to all the Classic guys as well as the entire CCG list so hope this gets our buds like Jeremy out in their rides (like the new toy Jezz!).

Keep an eye on the list at ther top of the thread as Ill post as they get back to me.
    Cheers

No offence taken by anyone who has talked to Phil and I. Curly is just trying to rekindle the interest of some of the Classic guys and we are all for that!

Be sure to distribute flyers to all the local hairdressers, that should hit your target audience

Ignore me, I'm just jealous because I don't have hair or a celica

Ya funny buggers. Like the 2 old hecklers in the balcony on the muppets...your just jealous of us classics!

OK so how about we make it the Saturday arvo of 21 July which is the day before the CCG dynoday. Anyone see a prob with this?

Also, if anyone is happy to have a CCG member ride shotgun on the day then say and we can get a few guys to keep everyone company on the run. great for rolling actions pics too!

The CCG site is void of current pics due to me not being able to get all the pics in one area. At great expense to me I bought a 500GB portable hard drive and all pics now reside on there. I will in the next few weeks make a small collection of event pics and update the site. SOOOOOOO if anyone has pics they have not already sent me then pls email or drop a CD to me.
    cheers
