Hmmm everyone is naggin me bout the sus, here is my dilemma, i already know how my car responds to the way i drive it, i fear that changing the sus at last minute will make the car very un predictable to me. hhhmmmmm decisions dcisions.......

i was thinking the exact same thing hahahah

dont know how reliable the stock 7m gaskets are

my tremec has taller 5th gear combined with my 3.7 diff 100 km/hr = 2000 rpm

nah it actually revs to low for 5th with the tremec
was so much nicer to drive with the r154 at cruising speeds

dammit you will easily top out higher than me then, my 1J will certianly pop before the 7m runs outta legs with those ratio's.....
with my 4.3 diff i managed a 235k run (on a private road) but my tacho was not working, although it felt VERY close to redline. in fact i dont think my temp gauge was working either hehe Suprising how long it actually takes to stop from that speed with standard supra brakes.

Your gasket should be ok on lowish boost ay??? like less than 10psi? Although a hot belting round a track may pose a drama...ah well time will tell...

Matty - if I take the Bel-Air, then I can probably fit the WildSupra in the boot on the way home!! LoL..

otherwise - whoring a lift with Rob is sounding good at the moment.. ahh Aristo comfort..

    ps.

I vote for you to keep your standard suspension for now. its slides well in its current form. coil-overs are just gonna enhance the handling - who wants that!? haha

my soarer used to die off around the 210-220 mark when it had 400 hp..

got to stage it wasnt increasing speed quick enuff so i just gave up. man that was a scary race - mate next to me blew his tyre out at 190 kmhr just next to me

as for the head gasket - temp seems to rise are even the odd 1 or two plant the foot down mmts - i think the radiator shagged but dont wanna put a ally 1 onto a shitty rusted out motor and get clogged
