    Default People running Apex'i AVC-Rs....

When you installed your AVC-R, which setup did you decide to use, injector monitoring or rev monitoring? Why did you choose to do it that way???

I have chosen to run with the injector reading, so I can see what duty the injectors are running at, - but at the cost of loosing the auto setup feature linked to the revs... and I can't decide wether or not its worth losing the auto setup feature for it!

the auto sensing isn't a great loss, as its lousy compared to actually tuning it by hand.

I used RPM. These things are a bitch to setup. Turn all the settings to off or zero before you try to do anything.

couldn't agree more, i eventually got sick of trying to tune it, and got rid of it.

I got like 40L/100km out of the tank of fuel I used to when I was trying to set it up. I was going to smash the POS and decided I wanted an Eboost.

But after I turned all the crap like "start duty, learn gear, FB speed" etc off the RPM boost mapping actually worked like it was supposed to. Before that the RPM mapping was not behaving anything like it should have. So I am going to give it another chance once my car hits the road again.

I installed mine as per the wiring diagram that it came with and it worked perfectly first go! It appears to be recognising injector load, and RPM's and modifying the wastegate duty cycle accordingly.

Is this what you are referring to?

The wire that reads the injector duty is the same one that reads RPM, it is either one or the other, not both! (At least on the version I have!)

Just changed mine over last night from Injector duty to RPM!
