I was going to order a complet set of Noltec bushes for the RA28, as I have been happy with them in the past.
One suspension joint, who seem OK so far, recommended a brand called PolyTuff.
Sounds like a pretty crappy nameand the most I can find out about them is that they sell outta Moss St in Brissie.
Now if you beleive all the marketing hype...
PolyTuff sell Polyurethane bushes and I would imagine Nolathane are the same thing.
Noltec market an improved polyester compound that apparently gives the same advantage withe the softness of rubber.
I kinda would've thought that the stiffness of polyurethane IS one it's advatages, so not sure whether the Noltec items will be all they say they are.
Has anyone got anymore info to help me decide which way to go?
Cheers,
Timbo
I have a mix poly tuff and nolathane in my pajero. Bushes have done approx 150,000 klm and still showing no signs of wear. (original rubber did 290000 k before failure) So far have no problems with either brand. I only ended up with mixture as nolathane had incorrect listing and needed a week to supply(after I had pulled car apart and removed bushes ofcourse), could get poly tuff next day so went that way as needed car
