1895 seems abit too much for the microtech
who was that thru
any ecu will be compatible with the 1j if u get all the correct sensors
for ease of fitment i would go microtech
with a wolf which i hate cause i dont do them often
and haltechs same reason
both these ecus u will have to spend some time on the laptop settin it up for starting
the microtech will start first go if u do things right
i tried to work on an old wolf could not find where to buy spare sensors so i told customers i dont wnat to waste any more time so i said get rid of it and throw a microtech on
no hassles with them
another thing is when u wire up a boost controller thru an aftermarket ecu it sometimes doesnt work 100% compared to a unit that does not run thru the ecu
i know on some autronics the boost controller would flutuate a tiny bit on hi boost
and u have to fit restrictors and stuff in vac lines to sort it out
u can run the microtech with the std coils just get an lt12 with ignitor box
i wired one up last friday and had no probs
