Default Do tall diff gears bind?

I have a 4.5 diff gear installed on a T-series diff (6.7"). When I turn the shaft a full rotation, there is one specific point it has a slight hesitation. Doesn't exactly bind but I can feel the gear not wanting to rotate as smoothly as the rest.

    Any recommendations?

Is this normal with taller non standard gears? I've never seen them on 4.3 and below and this is my first 4.5.

For starters that's a short ratio not a tall one,, but that aside there should definitely NOT be any hesitation and the 'feel' should be the same thru a whole rotation

Has it been rebuilt? Could be a bearing issue, especially if it's been sitting for a while and had moisture in it or the oil has drained off the upper areas and it's rusted on one area of the crownwheel teeth, it doesn't take much of an reduction in clearance to bind.
