    Default Strut tower theory

i know this isnt about toyotas or anything, but reading this may make you realize why you need a strut bar if your into racing or hard cornering. Its just a bit of simple theory behind how the work and what sort of loads the are under.

Obviously when your suspension (ie, the parts that suspend the car above the wheels) is connected directly to the car body - which is nothing more than some cheap pressed metal - some sort of re-enforcement is necessary when you push the car beyond its designed purpose (which is transporting young females to work and back).
