With quality parts, from turbo to tip in 3" mandrel, don't expect much change from about $1200 (stainless will be extra)
In dodgy ebay parts, with press bent, you'd get away for under $600.
What exhaust system do you guys run on your 7ma61's? From what i've read in posts, 3" seems to be the most popular size...
How much should a reasonably priced system cost me? I need something that'll pass engineering & roadworthy in VIC (so i'm porbably looking at resonator, muffler, and cat ???). At the moment it only has a nasty dump pipe off the back of the turbo which terminates just in front of the driver's seat... makes a nice loud burble, ha

I got my 3inch done, turbo back, for around $600. Mandrel bent with 2 small press bends in it just to keep the cost down. Its got a resonator and a Redback? muffler on it. Sounds pretty nice and it flows well too. I got a 3-4psi increase in boost over the 2 1/4 pipe i had on it before.

ya, i have a full 3" exhaust, mandrel bent and highflow cat and 3" dump pipe and single muffler. fairly quiet until you boot it. was $1300, not stainless steel,but i've just discovered the tip seems to polish up okay
Thanks guys, i suspected 3" was common. But I didnt realise it was gonna cost that much ... so i will avoid stainless steel !
