So the glass from a 28 won't fit into a 23.

It will "Fit" but you will have a 2 inch gap at the back when you wind the window up. As the profile of the roof line and hense the glass is different between the 23 and the 28

well the doors on the 28 are too banged up for repairs although the glass and mechs are fine, so im just gonna wack on a spare pair of 75 ta22 doors ive got lying around until i can find some more 28 ones, that should do for the time being and aesthetics right?????

if ya that worried bout sib, you could always get the outer skin from your 22 and put that on the 28 door, then no1 would know any different
