    Default gt28 equivilent

    hi guys,
Im finally decided to go single turbo on my 1ggte.
and i think the gt28 disco potato would be pretty much spot on as im after something responsive and not after huge rwkw figures.(but if you have a better suggestion let me know!)
    But theres one problem.
It about a grand to expensive! lol
so im after what you guys think is the equivilent but maybe in the KKR range?
    cheers

A KKR330 would be roughly equivalent to the Disco Potato and the KKR380 would be a fairly adept match for a GT2871R.

ahhh.. or maybe for a tiny bit extra i should just go the KKR380
the motor is in a hilux 4wd tho so its heavy! and i dont want much more lag than the twins had.. and the KKR330 can make around 200kw.. hrmm maybe ive just answered my own question! lol
anyone had any experience with the KKR380?
    cheers

To be honest, the KKR380 should be able to match the twins for response, and the 330 beat them. In a 4WD Hilux, there should be enough load to make the 380 spool nice and early.
