Might be a faulty sensor?
we just got a 1ggze conversion running in an old 22R corona but its running very rich and theres no idle controll,
it was running so high it was hitting over run fuel cut and surging up and down so we manually turned the stepper closed so it would idle bit it doesnt have any controll its just static, wont idle when its cold etc.
also its running really rich!
anyone had experience with the wiring ???
or is it more likely a faulty component??
thanks

I'm no standard management expert, but I'd tend to agree, a faulty sensor of sorts?
yea we tried a few temp sensor changes but no change, might make it rich but shouldnt affect the idle controll

have you checked that the stepper motor has power as it runs on a different circuit.
(happened to me on the first 1g i did years ago.)

Check to see if the cold start injector isn't constantly working.
AFM could be playing up?
Is it running standard injectors?
Is it throwing any error codes?
Cheers Brett.
thanks will check that out
how do you tell if it has error codes?

fixed
actually 2 seperate problems
it was the power supply to the stepper
and it had a cracked injector seal, vacuume leak playing havoc with the oxy sensor
funny how the hardest problems are sometimes the simplest things
runs a dream now
