i could sell you my ct12's and then i would have the money to put a big single on mine![]()
what are they worth anyways?
hi guys,
ive just pulled the CT-12's off my 1ggte and they need rebuilding..
rang up CTQ and they said $950 a turbo!![]()
anyone know of somewhere else worth trying?
is there anywhere you can get these turbos new?
and before someone says it. im not really keen on going single turbo.
but at 1900 bucks for rebuild i spose i should look into it.
thanks in advance

i was going to get a t25 done but they told me it was going to be $890
do the rebuild yourself (thats if they are conventional bearings) just take note of the way you take it apart - mark all the rotating assemblies position for reinstallation, and buy a new seal kit (probably toyota or whoever makes them) Ive done 2 t25's without problem, although i did rebalance them before reassembly (i do gas turbines for work). its not hard - dont know how they justify the big price. seal kit retail for t25/t28 was $130...
