And its Official, Toymods has its first vehicle on Historic Rego - Mine .
The "Historic Rego" tab of the web site will be updated shortly with the necessary Toymods application Form and a basic overview of whats required.
As a heads up tho it really is a straight forward process.
What you will need at the RTA is:
# Proof or purchase/ownership
# A Current pink slip
# RTA Application For Historic Registration - Form No. 1246 (Your pink slip guy needs to fill this in for you)
# RTA Historic Vehicle Declaration Form - Form No. 1259 (This form needs to be signed off and stamped by Toymods, AFTER you get your pink slip)
# Your current drivers licence as proof of ID
The RTA forms can be found here, under the "Registration" section.
https://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/publicati...forms_dl1.html
As for what we (Toymods) needs, River will have that outlined for you soon and the application form will be available online in the next couple of days. (Until they are online we can fax one to you)
As always if you were thinking of getting your car on Historic Rego with Toymods then just email the board with "Attn River - Historic Rego" in the subject line. Be prepared to spend a little time at the RTA as its not a quick process. Its painless, but takes a little while.

I have been geting asked a lot about why Toymods is so tough on what is and is not allowed for Historic Rego. I know there are other clubs that seem to allow all and any modification but the fact is that these vehicle run the risk of being classed as unregistered vehicle and insurance claims denied by the police and or insurance companies. Toymods considers itself far more responsible than that and is trying to ensure we maintain our good club name.
Feel free to read over the broad details on the RTA website.
