As a matter of good practice you would include ECU cat.# in your post. The number is found on top ECU lid, it starts from 89661. This would save lots of time spend on guessing otherwise.
Generally, connectors look like mfg. date is way earlier 1995. So I would assume jzx90, jzs14..

Engine conversion is when you drive a shitbox which costs a whole LEXUS to own
Guys
I might be doing this shortly.
Ive got JZA70R 1JZ from my Z20
Converting it to front sump
getting Bonnieville mounts
I need to know if those custom dumps on the previous page work or not... as my engine has them.
does anyone know?
Also the shell im getting is 5MGE+W58 fitted, What needs to be done regarding the tailshaft and gearbox Xmember to fit my 1JZ+R154 in....
i see on the 2nd page someone mentions if the MA61 was "AUTO" that you can use that gearbox xmember, but this one is manual...
in summary:
Tailshaft mods when going from 5MGE+W58 to using 1JZ+ R154 (WHATS NEEDED TO BE DONE)?
Do the custom dumps on previous page fit, or do they hit the steering arm to the rack?
Can i use the W58 gearbox xmember to mount my R154 in after i "massage" the tunnel with a mallot?
uhhh, any other comments on the questions i posed wilbo ?!
cmon man!
Tailshaft will need mods.
Both in its length, and its yoke.

do i keep MA61 shaft or JZA70/z20 shaft.?
Use the MA61 shaft, and have the JZA70 yoke/uni welded onto it.

so JZA70 front bit of shaft + yoke /uni ... welded onto the MA61/z10 shaft.
Pretty much yep.
Take both shafts to them, and say I need this welded to this, and it needs to be this long...
