Indeed, a big knock to the front can pull driveshafts from the box, not good at all, your lucky nothing is seriously rooted.

celicas/camry/coronas are very good at rooting the hub when a bearing goes...
to the point its more common for it to be stuffed than not.....

Gees you want me to relive it too? haha

bent the LH drive shaft a good 35 degrees, rooted the bearings and CVs hardcore. was charged about $1k inc parts for repair - '95 Hyundai Sonata it was, those things are built like tanks man.

A fella ova at pedders was saying that the hubs were weak... Apparently its only a soft iron that they are made out of... be nice if there were after market ones made of a different material. Ah well, if its rooted, which i wouldn't be surprised if it was, I would have to be gentle to it

Ouch! the Hyundia sounds like it got a good wallop too then lol. Don't mind me PitStop, i was just curious buddy lol (makes me feel better that i'm not alone, cheers mate haha) Was talking to a few other people last week, there once was a fella who owned a commodore, dunno how he did this, but he hit both his front wheels up a gutter front on, musta been a T intersection or sumfin.... but both his wheels snapped off and got driven into the firewall towards the cock pit. Costed him $1500 per wheel to get fixed. Crazy stuff......
