you could use it for RWD... but you would need 4 diffs (well, not diffs, since the speed would not be differentiatedbut at least 4x 90deg angle changes... which would make it completely fugly and impractical...)

You could think about adapting a box from an Altezza?
As a suggestion in future when you're thinking about doing something, but don't have access to one, make a visit to your local wrecker. You'd be surprised how much you can learn about cars there, I know I did/still do. Of ourse that depends on where you are.
