it is a bit MS specific but the general pints are there too
Hi all,
Does anyone know where to find some information on tuning cars? Im running a microtech ltx8 and a innovative wideband 02 sensor and i know my way around the microtech interface now but dont really know much about what to aim for when tuning.
eg: aim for slightly lean and relatively high timing when cruising but then enrichen and retard timing when going through boost. Ive ordered the microtech tuning manual but that wont be here for a bit and was wondering if there was any internet based information.
Cheers,
Daniel

Give this a go
Do you mean the advanced MT training manual? What sort of engine do you have also?
Is the car running or do you have to configure the Microtech to start the car?
yeh the advanced manual is what im getting - 150 pages!
The car is running and all, im just enquiring out of interest and the fact that theres little in the way of performance workshops up here to reliably tune cars. There is only one workshop that deals with the microtech system, luckily they are quite good, however due to this the're always busy.
The car is running a 4agze/20v combination with a gt2871 - uses the ltx8.
as a side note, all the setting up proceedures are in the ecu manual.
