Howdy people in pixel land
Does anyone here know anything about applied technologies wastegates( made in south carolina, america) ?
I bought one of ebay a couple of months ago for bugger all, now ive gone to use it and the diaphragm(thats a stupid word, who ever designed it probally worked for peugot) has a macca hole in it. Ive tried phoning them but i just get a wierd phone message and they dont have a presence on the internet that i can pick up.
if anyone knows where to get one info would be much appreciated, failing that can anyone reccomend a wastegate expert?

I think your fucked.....
Take the item apart and get the hole welded up..
Pay cheap, get cheap.
aaahhh, the diaphragm is the rubber bit that seals in the pressure. while i dont doubt it is possible to weld it, i just dont have the technology.
ive actually managed to find a phone no, so ill give em a buzz tonight(14hrs behind us)
by the way strad, ill be getting my dizzy back on monday HOORAY and ive got everything else waiting for it, with the exception of the wastegate. so fingers crossed

indeed... if you can't get in touch with them (the white-elephant strikes again) piss it off and get a decent one of the same size from a reputable co. if you got it for cheap, then realistically you haven't lost too much by moving onwards and upwards.Originally Posted by stradlater
