    Default 1jz Auto VS Man crank difference?

    The 1jz in my MX83 is needing to b replaced cracked ring land i think. 1jzgte with W58 box behind it.
    Anyway i have managed to score another 1jz of a mate who is desperate to get rid of it hell cheap the only thing is its an auto 1jz.
    Neither he nor i have any idea what car his 1jz came out of so i am assumin i will need to change the sump to suit the MX83 setup, will the W58 box bolt straight up to the auto 1j or will i have to make some changes?
    I know with nissan manual conversions u need to change the rear spigot bush is this the same with Toyo's?

    Of course you have to insert a spigot bearing, but that costs all of about $2.50 at a bearing shop. Make sure you use manual flywheel bolts on your flyhweel too. Other than that, swap over the front sump, loom, other accessories if needed, preferably change the timing belt, and all should be good. Oh, also make sure you replace the front and rear crank seals, and cam seals - much easier with the engine out.

    change spigot bearing over and fit NEW flywheel bolts i will repeat NEW.
    1 of my customers told me to reuse his old bolts to be a tight arse i made him come over and do the tensions with a brand new wrench two weeks later whilst flogging his car they sheered off.
    other than that straight bolt in .

    cheers dude exactly what i wanted to hear.
    Was planning on doin timing belt and crank seals b4 i dropped the motor in anyway.
