OK,
As Steve has said, I managed to get hold of the right person to allow us to visit and drive on the Belmont/Pelican airport. This airport is now almost out of use, it is only used for a few of the local guys now. It is also on the proviso that it is not Dubbo so there will be NO drag racing.
The gentleman said that we may even be able to drag a plane out to make a different backdrop than we are used to. The runway heads of towards the lake as well. There used to be a half dismantled plane there but i found out on the weekend that this went to sims scrap
On another note, I have been in contact with one of the Toyota dealerships up here to see if they would like to donate us a few trinkets (likely to be stickers, badges etc not sure tho). The initial response seems good, but he needs to get higher permission. If this comes off, Steve and i have been trying to come up with a couple of games to firstly try and get all of you guys/girls to interact and know each other better and also to give a little (friendly) competitive spirit to the day.

i was keeping quiet about my invovlement in this cruise just incase i hit delays, Which has happened
so im pissed off to say i wont be making it unless im extremely lucky and even then i wouldnt want to drive a freshly installed 1g 2 hrs on its first drive...

It would be good if you could change the flyer on here, mainly for the Newie people because we (ie Steve) have changed the destination, and the cars that we have put flyers on will prob just turn up at the foreshore.
Steve and i have been writing our numbers and/or giving them the website address to look at, but im not convinced they will just turn up and not callfor updates.
