Toyota factory & Sat Nav TV NTSC:PAL???

Just scored a 97 Aristo which has a factory TV and Sat Nav: is it possible to convert the TV and Sat Nav to work in Australia?

I would think the sat nav, would be a major PITA. The navigation system would be for Japan only. Mate of mine looked into it for his sat nav in UZS Crown. He still drives around with his car located somewhere in the South China Sea on his screen.Funny man!!!

TV on the otherhand should be quite easy, replace the NTSC tuner in the boot, with a digital Pal/NTSC tuner, available from JCar, for about $200.00, a bit of fiddling with cables and such, and you should be OK. I am about to start that same install into my MS137 Crown very shortly. Keep in touch, and I will let you know how it goes.
