Bloody well done mate,
Good to see this stuff happening!
Keep it up,
Jeremy
was back on chasers dyno again to day to finish off the dyno as last time was 40c intake temp.
to day was cooler with about 80%humity the last power run was 32c intake temp
well from the start about 4 years ago to know we have achieved quite abit of trying different things
any way the 1st motor had trd cams and valve springs 11,5 to comp 45mm trd quads on and extractors was tuned at motecs engine dyno and it made 225hp with 98octane fuel
i then proceeded over to pauls where he finished off the tune ,but we did a power run 1st to see from motecs engine to chassis dyno we acheived 133kws and from more fine tuning we ended up with 135kws
about 6 months later went back with a set off extractors from TRD power and more fuel up to 146kws but lost alot of torque
last year with new engine 12 to 1 comp new cams and vvti enabled and 47mm quads on and extrators we moved power up to 8800rpm and a flat torque curve power now is 163kws at back wheels .
today with 50mm quads power and torque has gone up ,what i thought was good with 163kws off power and torque ,didnt think it could get any better ,was i wrong 179.3kws now at the back wheels
so with a bit more devolopment i cant see why i cant get 190 rwkws from 2 liters of na power

Awesome stuff dude.
It's great to hear things are going in the right direction, a hell of a lot more satisfying than doing a bunch of work for nothing or a loss.
That's a huge power change from throttle body changes. Have fun with it.
I'm guessing you're talking about a 3s-ge?Originally Posted by Celica RA45
So was that just the throttles, or did you fiddle with the exhaust as well?
Got a picture of the dyno graph ?
if some 1 will host them as in dyno sheet i will send them to them

that last one looks pretty good,
what's the dip in torque at around 4,500 RPM due to?
we cant fix that ,thats what happens with 50mm quads i suppose ,you loose abit down low but pick it up every where else if you look at the 163kws im actully making more power at the same rev s
For those looking for a number,
1 kilowatt = 1.34102209 HP
179.3 kW is a bit more than 240 hp.

But apart from that, BLOODY GOOD RESULT GLEN! Some big numbers there!
bloody fantastic
