not liking the exh flange convertor, looks very flow restrictive
    JZX83+ FMIC+ Twin 2.5" dumps to 3"+ FCD+ 2800rpm stallie+ 14psi - LSD - good tyres = 12.85 @105.58

compressor exducer is very similar to a gt3076 but smaller trim so the inducer is smaller (normally 57mm). The turbine wheel is larger at 64.5 compared to 60 mm (large section) but the a/r is small at .58 compared to most people would run a .8 or larger with a 3L.

This turbo is also VERY similar to my hypergear TR44 which has 76mm comp exducer, 57mm comp inducer, 65mm turb. inducer and 48mm turb. exducer with .63 turb. a/r. t3 flange. In saying that, I haven't got any dyno figures yet but I have done some spool tests and my car wasn't the best for boost threshold tests but it came out ok with full boost of 15psi at about 4000rpm on my 1jz. I was a bit worried about losing topend with the small a/r on my 1j so I think the .58 would be even worse for that. It should come on pretty hard but I think it will run out of puff (especially with a slightly smaller comp wheel). Personally, I think that turbo is good for 2-2.5L and for a 3L I wouldn't go smaller than a GT3082 or even better GT35 which are 61mm comp inducers. With a .8 a/r gt35 you will make full boost a little later than the JJR turbo but it will seriously outflow it up top.

The smaller turbo suits my needs as I was aiming for more low down power and I don't actually need that much power to run the times I want but if you are chasing big power I think the JJR turbo is too small for a 7m.
