4AGZE S/C question

I'm posting this on behalf of a mate on the RAV4OZ forums. He's asked if there's a possibility to use the S/C from a 4AGZE on the RAV4's 3S-FE engine. The only info I found out about this (S/C'ing a 3S-FE) was Neal Daniel's RAV4 where he used a modified Sprintex S/C.

I'm thinking this might have to be the case for this guy's aspirations (haha) and go for the Sprintex option, but I just wanted to put this out there just in case someone had the same idea with a 3S-FE before.

i think you would be better off with a S/C from a 1G-GZE on a 3S-FE (both 2L motors)

but yes, either can be done.......with enough effort and/or money

yup, unless you want to only run low revs or low boost, SC14 would be a slightly better proposition.... you could use the same pulley diameters as the 1G and know roughly what you will get out of it.,

surely you mean 3S-G(Z)E?

either way, the 3S with the GE head. I don't think it's all that much of a waste to stick a Sprintex on a 3S-FE, go a modded chip with the package and a few slight mod's with the S/C and 150-160 at all four paws is achievable. it's been done. observe...



I'll let my mate know about raiding the S/C from a 1G instead, see how we go. thanks for the input.
