    Default How to: xA2x, xA4x 4cyl tachos, work with a 6cyl Wolf3d :)

Hey guys, most of you guys probably already know, but id figure id leave this hear for the future as i had some pics handy of the tinkerin, not difficult at all but my tacho never read right as a 4cyl using a wolf 3d. So i decided to tear it apart and find out why she ticks
All it comes down to (Thanks peewee) is a basic potentiometer, that you twist with a screwdriver...thats all...

    Tools:
    Philips screwie
    flattie
    maybe plyers

Ive left a pic showing where the potentiometer is... so hopefully those of you who may have this trouble in the future can just play with it like i did.
When adjusting the tacho, Rev it up to 4000rpm (hoping u have a dwell meter to tell you where that is!!!) and adjust the tacho accordingly by twisting the potentiometer adjustment
Its not harD!! hehe so i found out
Hope this helps people in the future
    Steve

or if you have a RA40, bolt in a MX62 tacho module and the job is done. might need to build a wave converter thing though depending on engine
