Default Good mechanic in melb for conversion.

I'm looking for a decent mechanic in melb who could give me a quote on a conversion. Someone who wont fuck me around and take a year to do a job that should take 2 weeks tops.

    Thanks a lot

    Nick.

SW20 NA, 1MZFE, not a lot done, stockish but usual I/H/E stuff. Probably wouldn't want to spend more than a few grand to convert and a couple of grand on the engine.

I know of a good honda guy who would convert an ITR B18C7 into a civic for around $3k and have it done drive in drive out in 2 weeks. But thats a bolt up job with small adjustments to drive shafts etc... mainly a loom issue.

My biggest draw back is that I've sold my old car and I need a car in the next 4 weeks because my dad wants his car back! So right now I've got the choice of GT models or a cheap NA and the swap. Its a stupid pipe dream at this stage but I want to chase it up because I'll be kicking myself if its worth while.

    where
    $c = cost of conversion,
$h = cost of halfcut, and
$p = cost of tank of petrol

    $c =! $h + $p
