Default Alfa rear brakes, by Brembo

I've been told that the rear brakes on some type of Alfa are a really good two-spot Brembo. And that they're what I need for the front of the racer to replace the heavy steel ones I have now.
Anyone know what they might be, and where to get them?

They be off one of the GTA models I presume either the 147GTA or 156 GTA.

Hmmm Alfa spare parts department, my searching finds they are 275mm twin pistons, DBA don't list a replacement rotor for them though , they have fronts but no rears.

that's because most italian cars die from poor workmanship or excessive driver talent before the rear disks wear out?

The early Alfas had a Brembo brake package.

For example, the Alfa 75, the family sedan, had a Brembo caliper and disc on the rear, like the one pictured below. Lightweight due to aluminium construction.

    Disc: Part No. VVL015 (Brembo)
    Rear Caliper: Part No. BM521

    Cheers,

    Peter

    Billzilla,

Just been to a mate's place who is a bit of an Alfa nut, and he had a pair of the Brembos I was able to measure the bolt spacing on.

It was 76.5mm as near as I could measure.

    Cheers,

    Peter
