I asked about those not long ago and the tyre guy said none coming into AusOriginally Posted by finney
BF Goodrich doesn't appear to make that size either in the track tyres
Being limited to a 205/45 profile on a 16 inch rim up front really limits your choices
If only Falken brought in their full range of the RT615.

I haven't looked into them, I never knew they made performance type tyres.Originally Posted by Blue_Stivo
Edit: Thanks for the heads up! This looks interesting and they list the size I need (whether or not it's in the country though.......)

these are the shit and in 205/45r16 too
They do look good.
I just rang my local dealer for them and they said yep, available and only $180 each! Seems too cheap to me, maybe she quoted me on the cheaper model with the same first four letters/numbers?
I will be getting these on the car before June 1
Who wants a cheap pair of Toyo T1R's only done about 500km
Thanks again for pointing me toward them.

What is the legality of sea food extender? I know you're not allowed to have a quick feast in a street car but am unsure of just the extender.
Hi guys, sorry it's taking me a day or two to respond sometimes, pretty busy atm.
Shane, money came through, and others, if you look back to post #1 you'll see there's now 15 spots available for Toymodders!
To answer a couple of questions raised, the $140 is per car for the track fees, you can have as many drivers as you like. The way we look at it is only one of you can drive it at a time so we don't see why you should have to pay any more.
Each driver needs to be licenced though, so cams or wakefield licence. You need to have your valid drivers licence and the fee ($60?) with you on the day to sign up. We do allow passengers (for driver training purposes only! ) but the same requirements apply with licencing and indemnity as for drivers. The passengers is why we don't have timing as it gets real messy with event classification and insurance. You're more than welcome to bring along your own timing devices though. If you do, please bring one for me.
As for the accomodation, we stay down there both nights on either side to avoid the early start and/or long drive home. Also means we can have a few drinks and tell stories (read: get drunk and talk shit) around the campfire.

I renewed my Wakefield licence last week and it was $50 (just checked the site and it says $50). You get a nice pic on it now too.Originally Posted by -GT-

I have Federals on the silver supra. Cant vouch for track performance, but they certainly did the trick on the drag strip

also, my wakefiled lic expires on the 1/6/07, will it still be valid on the day?
I'd assume it's like any other form of licencing and would expire at midnight of the expiry date - which means it should be fine.Originally Posted by IN 05 NT

This is true. Never drove that car on a circuit, but they launched well enough on the strip
