    Default T50 conversion

    Well basically my gay 4 speed in my ke70 has decided to let go and im wonderin how much more work and $$ it is to convert to a 5speed as opposed to just replacing the 4speed

    the car is a ke70 with a 4kc and has stock diff and tailshaft ect

    I'm pretty sure your after a K-50 , i don't think a T-50 will bolt up to a 4K

    GA23(never finished-now with cracked block ) JZX83 (Tyre eater) 3sgte AE86. by now i should know better.

    there are at least 2 different K to T bellhousings (cable and hydraulic), so it can be done easily.

    the T50 out of certain KE35's will bolt straight in, but you might need one of the other extension housings.

    if you go the 5K bellhousing, you need a hydraulic clutch out of an AE7x.

    easiest to get a KE70 K50 (different extension housing to a KE55 one.. but you can swap the housings... but you need the KE70 extension housing anyway )
    KE70 K50 5 speed bolts in with no mods.
