if your going to be carting tools around and things like that ur going to be carrying a bit of extra weight, so obviously something with a bit more grunt is going to be more friendly to yourself.

id probably go for the cressida, even the mx62 will have a better interior than a 5 year newer rt142 corona and will also be alot nicer to drive.

conversion will probbaly be easier as well, 7m going onto an M series crossmember, no custom mounts, whereas the 1G u need custom mounts to fit it into the corona.

you could of course get yourself a TT142 (correct me if im wrong?) import crossmemeber for the corona and drop in a 3TGTE which would be a bolt in affair but once again you would probably still have more fun/comfort in the cressida

    I love wagons too.

Id say Cressida wagon. Big enough to put stuff into. Enough info on 1JZ swaps, plus you can buy all the parts you need to install it easily....

    1jjjjzzzzzzzzzzz..... tempting...

    oh nice!

is it the 2 door or a 4 door?

the corona's dont have heaps of room inside the boot surprisingly, theyre just so awkard, ive slept in the corona, a camry and a daewoo and out of them all the deawoo had the most room haha

seems like the cresida wagons are a bit scarce right now, there were a few for sale not very long ago. shame eh!!!!

i think stepping down from the import corona trim into aussie spec will be highly dismall on a daily basis as well so im still shouting out to go the cressida route.

    OR

look in for sale, jesse is selling his crown wagon and its aweome! but dont buy it, its too cheap =( and i want it

    hahhaahaha

quick question for anyone, anyone at all..

is it worth going 1ggze? coz i can get it cheap.. but i googled it and it doesnt seem to have any more power than my 3t.. and if i go to the effort id want it to go well...

what could be done to make it have a little more go..

it would only be harder coz it would have to be legal
    cant just register it...

never gotten a modified car legal here.. im guessing it would be costly
