i grabbed some stock line holders from other cars at wreckers.... free
can get 2, 3, 4 and maybe 5 line holders..

installed my lines today but I had to use the hard plastic clips thats all I had . Not as good as the steel ones but they worked just fine . I also used 3/8 line instead of 5/16 for the return line . I had it so why notI decided that the tunnel route was not a good idea as my driveshaft isn't new or 1 piece so if it breaks it won't take the lines too.... just insurance I guess . Pic for ya !!!

Yotaholic, where abouts did you buy that tool? I suppose I should get my arse into gear and go down to my local toolshop and have a look around!

KD ( US company ) makes it but i'm sure there's something close to it at your local autoparts store . Sure helps with the 3/8 line and brake lines too for that matter . 10 bucks cdn. so well worth it !!

just to let you all know i've gone with the 3/8 tube, theres a company in fairfield where i just took my old lines and they bent the new tube exactly like the old with a few exceptions near the engine bay so i could make life easier for me when it came ti hooking up fuel to the sr. the company was called burt bros and they charged me 120 for both lines, i know it sounds alot however over the next couple of months time was going to be an issue with work.
p.s i spontaniously bought that bending tool that is shown above from the states just because i can see me needing it in the future, 28.99 australian dollars to get it delivered to my door

120 well thats a bit high for the time it's takes to bend the lines but hey it's done and thats all that matters . That tool is a good investment and pays for itself with the first line you bend with it

i think it wasnt too bad either, when i picked it up and fitted them they followed the exact same path as the old ones and the standard clips were also used to mount under the car.

i've just bought some 3/8" bundy tube and a bender/cutter and i'm ready to go ahead
just wondering if its ok to run it like this down the exhaust side?

It should be ok providing you have enough clearance for the fuel lines not to conduct the heat from the exhaust as this will cause probs.
If you think it is going to get hot where you want to position them........ better to go to the hassel of mounting them away from heat now than later !

Depends on how close the pipes will be to the exhaust, the engineers want a minimum distance unshielded, I did know the distance but have forgotten now .. SORRY ..

hey guys i just had my fuel lines made up 3/8, it ended up costing me 120 for both, its a bit expensive however they ended up copying all the bends of my existing lines so they can me mounted in the exact same spot. I'll take a pic tomorrow when i fit it to my car to see how accurately it was made up.

there is a place in fairfield called BURT BROS, they do brakes, clutches and fuel lines. I just took them my old ones and they made the new ones up following the exact same bends

So why is copper tube used for household gas supplies and airconditioner pipes? The pressure and vibrations in A/C's would be worse than a smooth engine. And the pressure is much higher.
Try ebay for pipe benders. Just search under "pipe bend*" (minus quotes). Less than $50 seems ok.
What about getting tubes from another car with a bigger engine (Comonwhore) so you get bigger legal pipes and refitting them to your car.
