i belive for the front thatthe shocks in the twinkies are replacable inserts where the standard... single cam vehicles (sinkies ?) are sealed struts and hence a few more quid to replace.
the rears are both sealed struts iirc.
Hey guys/girls i was after some new shocks to accompany the superlows springs in there for my ae82 and was wondering if anyone knows the differences between the twinky and non-twinky shocks?
Ive got a non-twinky but it has had twincam brakes up front and series 2 SX discs on the rear now (if that makes a difference). I've been told by a supplier that twinky ones are a little bit cheaper but he wasn't able to tell me why, and what the differences were![]()
Any help is appreciated![]()

ah ok, so there's not major differences that would stop me from putting in twinky shocks?

well the twinky shocks are inserts so youd need some twinky tubes as your sinky will only have sealed struts in it atm.
at least this is my guess. i know the ae92 is cetainly this way.
