EGR valve not connected

have just been looking over my new 90 gt4 to find that the egr valve is not connected and there is no egr vacuum modulator.. has anyone disconnected or removed their valve? also the valve that vent the exhaust gases to the egr vacuum modulator is not connected to anything.. any ideas?

just had another look to find that there is no vacuum outlet on the e-port which is on the throttle body, the hose from it is supposed to go to the vsv.. any ideas??.. i'm stumped, maybe its an import engine without the pollution gear?? doesn't explain why it has an egr valve though?

EGR is gay anyway, you should remove it for a more hetro ride.

dont worry about the egr alot of people block them off anyway all they do is use exhaust gases to heatup the motor and most carbon up and dont work anyway
i myself would block it off and make it look like it works

I haven't done it on a Toyota, however I've disconnected the EGR valve on Fords & Holdens I've had. ( These were all carby engines that had more grunt and ran cooler with all the anti pollution gear disconnected) Although it was not doing anything, I left it all there for the purpose of roadworthiness.

I know the one on the Wife's camry doesn't work, it's seized shut. Doesn't affect the way it runs.....probably improves it
