    Default AFARCC Wanneroo assault

    Hello people !

Just a reminder our track day is on the 2nd June at Wanneroo.

It is a Full Day event, $100 for members $120 for non members.

Its a Test and Tune event, you will be divided into groups of 7 or 8 and let out on the track in 5-10 lap runs. Gates open at 8am, be there at 8am for scrutineering. The day ends at 4pm.

All types of cars are welcome from Corollas, WRX's, Supra's, Skylines, Rx7's, Mx5, Falcodores.

WASCC have made it clear that no drifting is allowed at events not run by WASCC. Unfortunately this means we can not allow drifting at the event under the threat of being denied future access to the track by WASCC. Sorry Guys.

    Requirements:

    Roadworthy Car
    Approved Helmet
    Long Clothing
CAMS L2S License or Day License (available on the day).

For any further enquries or To put your name down for a spot email [email protected].

    Thanks,

As of the 15th of May 2007 We have been notified by the 'good' people at WA
Sporting Car Club (WASCC) who control Barbagello Raceway that we are no
longer able to hire the track for our day due to repairs they have decided
to carry out on the 28th of May 2007.

Myself and the rest of the committee would like to apologise for any
inconveniece. We are totally disgusted at the way we have been treated by
WASCC but are completely powerless to do anything about this. We made a
booking in good faith last year for this day and to have it taken away from
us 2 weeks or so before the day is extremely disatisfying. The 'urgent'
repairs that they require to be carried out on the track are not however
urgent enough for them to delay the Drift Comp which is the weekend before.

If you feel as disappointed and disgusted as I do feel free to contact WASCC
    and voice your opinion:

    Fax. 08 9306 8539

Again, I can only but apologise to those of you who have spent time and
money preparing your cars for a day (I personally have been preparing my car
since last year to have it ready in time!). We will be trying to organise
something ASAP to take place of this event.

To all those who have paid in advance, please contact
[email protected] and we will organise a full refund, or you may use
the money towards our next event.
