mx83 7mge manual conversion info needed

hey guys,

the missus wants a manual again as she claims she getting bored with auto, plus manual is more fun,

what i want to know,

what tailshaft do i use? will the stocko auto one fit into a W55/6/7/8?

the shift inhibitor,,,i just bridge the wires aye?

pedal box, just need to confirm that GX81/jzx81 pedal boxes are a direct fit?

crossmember, will the aut one bolt up? or will i need a custome one? (making one is not a prob)

I presume you want a w58 which would be easiest. Gx81 pedal box is direct fit you will find there is already bolt holes for it on firewall. The crossmember will fit but not perfectly, you will need to turn mount around 180 degrees and slot the 4 bolt holes for them to line up (not drastically though). Tailshaft can be used however it will need to be lengthened and a w58 yoke welded on end (stock A340 yoke is different and not compatable) which will set you back a few hundered bucks
