turbo on a 5meu, is it worth it?

Hi all,

im possibly going to rebuild my 5meu, in my ms112 coupe and was considering the turbo option although im not sure if its possible or even worth it, or will something like a 7mgte bolt straight in.
Im also considering historic rego and will the above void any chances of this?
in a nut shell i guess im looking for a few extra ponies.

Turbo 5me, is it worth it?

No

Mteu, turbo manifold and turbo bolts on, but are rare. You also then really need a Mteu dizzy as well to pull timing on boost...

7mgte with factory ecu is a choice that is an order of magnitude better 1 or 2jz is also worth thinking about
