Mine is running like shit.. won't idle properly, rattles and bangs, leaks oils, smells like fuel and exhaust fumes...

mine's got the same symptoms, except it doesn't smell like fuel and it idles good. yes she's tearing through the 20W/50 like it's going out of style, but the new cat just smells like burned oil if you give it a bit of poke. still, it took on a GT Starlet last night and held it's ground rather well. 4E-FTE vs. shitty old 1st Gen 3S-GE.

going to be doing an oil and filter change on mine on Friday, and will be putting 25W/60 into it, hoping it doesn't drink this quite so fast.

mine isn't using much oil but bucket loads of fuel (280k on $50). timing chain rattles, idle is just a night mare, the whole bonnet rattles against the guards, shakes the car so hard your teeth rattle... but i'm going to the test'n'tune for origin 3 (providing i can find a helmet in time), and i'm aiming for no less then 14.8 to give turdinator's hybrid a run for it's money... some people seem to think that T series is better then R series... but we all know T stands for Turd hehehe...

well my car doesnt have an exhaust anymore (my cat fell out with the help of an exhaust cutter, ive now got a 14 inch gap in my pipework) and ive still got a huge oil leak.
