i'll have another look at the setup for the fpr, also double check the vacuum hose connection that feeds off it.

Well, I've decided back to basics. going for new pins and proper soldering.
if this doesn't work, i'm gonna put in an 18RC carby.

Tried wiring the pumps direct, avoiding AFM, it ran but rough.

So, back to the drawing board.

Are you saying it stayed running with the fuel pumps hard wired?

Man, if you get really stuck, you can send the loom to me to look over/fix man.

it ran for a short period, then died. As I said it ran rough, so don't know what to make of it.
I want to put new pins on the plugs or locate new plug altogether, as I can't get the pins out.
the original wiring on the plugs is pretty shit.
Also extend the length of harness, to relocate the ECU.

RA35GT, again thanks for the offer, I might take you up on it. I'll let you know.
Anyone have any idea where to locate new ECU plugs?

Does it continue to pump fuel after initial start up I've had an experience recently where the comp cut off fuel delivery after about 10 seconds

It ran for longer than 10 sec. I needed to pump it a few times to keep it running as it ran rough .

I finally figured out how to remove the pins, tomorrow I will re-solder all the wires and extend the harness.
Looking at the harness, I have a suspect ignition wire connection. This was deep behind the dash and I think I missed it.
I'm thinking this would give me the cutting off of the engine. Where as if it was fuel, a run on effect would be evident I would think.
does that sound like it could be he culprit?
I will know when I re connect everything.

40psi not sure of flow rate. Most people just use a vl fuel pump, the pressure reg will keep it happy so doesn't matter if the flow is too high.
Looking for a new toy. If you have something 18r powered let me know.

I've checked the rfpr. It replaced the original one and placed it in the same place at the end of the fuel rail with return back to the surge tank - then main tank.
vacuum is taken from the intake, but is tee'd off with the dizzy vacuum advance. Any problem forseen with that connection?
I've read some people put the FPR before the fuel rail input, not sure if thats right.

I ran the FPR at 38psi up to 45 and had no problem. till now..lol

With a Rising FPR on an 18rgeu, would multi hole injectors be better off for atomising, than std single pintle?
Its been covered before, regarding the single over multi, but not with the added Rising fpr.....

Putting it before the fuel rail would just pressurize your fuel lines not the injectors so afaik would be pointless.

As for your rising rate fpr, it wouldn't add fuel on an na motor as it uses boost pressure to add fuel.
