i am so confused right now, can anyone type a list of what bolts go where inside the timing case. most importantly what bolts hold the bearing holder plate on the balance shaft.

ive got the green book but its useless. i ended up using the manual from my old rt104. so now its just sitting waiting for the head. i cant lift it by myself so its stuck on its end until my dad comes over.

ok now this is getting stupid, i dont know how anyone can consider the green book useful. it is the most poorly thought out manual i have ever seen, there is no information in it. anyway my next question what order does the head get bolted down and at what are the 3 torque stages.

I didn't see the year of your engine, and my book is for the older engines, but says the head torque is 7.2 -8.8 kg-m or 52 - 64 foot pounds. When I do 3 step I do 50% 75% and 100%. My book is actually pretty through, but you do need to know what section you are in since mine covers 18R, 18R-C, and 19R-G. Good Luck!

    Thanks everyone

Flywheel and clutch turned up about 7:30 tonight... these Australian Air Express contractors must be run off their feet this time of year!! The bloke delivering it thought the weight of the thing was justified by the fact there was a flywheel in there... should have seen his face when I told him there was a clutch too!!

So anyway, the clutch weighs twice what the flywheel does, and the flywheel looks to be a very well made, extremely solid bit of gear. Pity the seller took so bloody long to send it out. Will measure it against the stock units tomorrow, as I am somewhat dubious about the clutch (can't match the part numbers to the advertised vehicle - will double check with measurements)
