I should have gone 2" instead of 2 1/4". My own silly fault.
I'd be interested in finding out who 'that mob in sydney' are.

Damn, I can't remember the name right now. I found the details on this forum somewhere, probably in this thread. A little searching and you will find it.

For future reference, the extractors had to be modified quite a bit to fit a Corona,as they were designed for a Celica.

Well i would imagine a similar level of modification would be required to fit them to an xT13x

Comparing the engine bays of my two Coronas, I'd say so.

I still have a set extractors to suit 18RG but they came from a mob called Performance Warehouse and they were advertised as 18R cross flow head to suit Corona or Celica and they just clear the bottom of the fire wall. That was the photo l sent you Owen.

For all those who care, I emailed Kameari engine works about the 92mm 2200cc piston kit and was told it was recently discontinued.

    These guys supply Toyhead auto.

Lets hope i can still get some, i don't want to pay for customs pistons

I've just found out that my pistons aren't suitable for my project, so I was gonna consider these ones too... now that news just plain sucks...

Is there any reason why the 20R/22R pistons from LC Engineering won't do the job??

Wrong valve configuration mate. You would need to get them measured and fly cut to suit your combustion chamber and valves.

Ummm... custom pistons dont cost *that* much?

I got custom forged pistons for my turbo 18RG from Specialised Piston Services in Vic (well, yellorolla got them for me really).... and they were around the $1200 with rings - but that was about 4 years ago.
They were definitely not off-the-shelf items either.

Can't recall if you are planning on running turbo, but the dished 22RTE pistons I had didn't have/need valve reliefs. High comp will though.

I don't know what the compression worked out to be... I never ended up building the engine, but it was intended to be a stroker which would make a diff.

wonder how the 22R chamber volume compares to an RG?
