1gge into a ra40

say i wanted to put a non turbo 1gge into a ra40 (hypetheticly speaking) wood the w50 gbox and t series diff handle the mighty 1gge and brakes say the hilux/pug/corona upgrade wood be enough as brett celica coupe uses that with the turbo 1g

i had a 1GGE in my ra40, never had issue with the diff or stock brakes (i had a W55 however)

it was engineered np

Someone correct me if im wrong, but 1G-GE GA61's had T series diffs, and the are much heavier cars.
W50 will definitely be fine.

Where are you going to find a 1G -> W50 bellhousing? I think you'll need to do a W58 conversion.

You can get them cheap as chips, no one wonts them. There is a good one in vic for 150 in the classifieds but if you find one in the real world they give them away.
