the only unknown is the injectiors, they use 2 huge ones and they supply a 3.9l N/A engine ok, so maybe it will do for a 1.2l turbs?

been looking into doing this exact thing on a 4k corolla.. too many projects damnit
Not a bad a idea that, Ive had a bit of a look around on ebay bay and a google search to find some but couldnt find any, guess its going to be a treasure hunt at some wreckers to find one.

Also found this bit of info, basically how to inject a old mazda engine, the K engines wouldnt be to much different just a different adapter plate and maybe a few other things, dont know what the person was doing posting it on fastfours though.

Heres a good thread from the rollaclub.com forum to have a look through about turboing a carbie k engine, some decent info in there and some of the people are still on the forum so you could pm them if you needed a little extra info, but that thread seams to have pretty much everything that you need to know.

ive made to suck thru turbs setup one in my ta22 runing 15 - 20psi ran good till it crack a pistion, and then suck thru setup on my rolla with the 3T agian but running 8psi, both times using a CD175 srongburg carby, but now looking at runing a 2'' SU for more flow, and also making a blow thru weber setup also, and a turbs 302windsor with a blowthru holley near the end of the year

so far ive been able to do it alot cheaper than if i ran EFI, and its beeen goin hard, so im in no way even thinking of goin to EFI and i can rebuild and tune the carbys my self so thats good. so yeah setup is easy, it goe hard, once its up and running and tune right it fine after that

carbys all the way for me

can get more pic if you like?
