    Default Accel pedals

This isn't really tech, but it didn't fit anywhere else.

I need a new accelerator pedal for my RA23, and I don't know what fits. I've got an RA40 one and it doesn't...the coupling to the accelerator cable a wrong for the pedal. Does anyone know if anything other than an RA23 pedal will fit? I'd assume an TA23 and RA28 one would, and maybe a TA22? Anything else which may be easier to find?

    Cheers.

    I'm so postmodern......

Ive just replaced my ra28 hinge-type with a ra40 float-type pedal in my ra28. I had to modify the top of the pedal for the cable arrangement i needed for the 1ggte (by welding a plate onto the top). But did bolt into the original holes - so think you would be better off changing the ra40 pedal you have. The ra23 should be the same as a ra28 i would imagine. The only other option that ive read of is a sigma pedal- http://www.toymods.net/forums/showth...ht=sigma+pedal

MS112's and some MX62's have a floor mounted pedal with a uber long cable.

would require some bending/drilling i would presume.

Ive just changed my pedal the other day to a floating type. I used a 1995 collorolla seca pedal. the pedal needs to be bent left because its offset to far to the right on the ra23, and towards the seat to allow sufficient pedal travel. its got a nice flat bit at the top to wield whatever adaptor you need for whatever throttle cable your using.

XT 130 Corona might do the trick also.

All the early Corollas had hinge-type accelerator pedals, wouldn't be surprised if they were similar or the same to the early Celica ones, and roughly same cable length too
