jzx81 wiring diagram

Hey can someone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for the ecu setup on the jzx81 as i need to set it up in a mx73. have tried a search here but dont seem to get anything.


Also does the auto need the electronic speedo sensor to run correctly and if it does how do people get around the problem of a mechanical speedo drive?
any help would be good

Be carefull there are some dodgy diagrams out there for the 1JZ (do not run "fpr" to ground)

a bit more info would be good, i guess your using the auto from the jzx81? that normally uses an electronic sender/speedo, but your car (mx73?) has a mechanical cable and analogue speedo? am i correct?

if your old auto is an a340 series, and the new one is also (probably an a340le?) if the extension housings look the same (ie. speedo drive goes in at the same point) you could probably use you mechanical conction in that box. if not you may be able to swap your extension housings over and use it, while off check the cog in the box make sure they are the same or similar.


this is just a guess, as i interchanged parts from 3 differant a34* boxes when i was stuffing around to get one working properly in my supra. they all seemed the same at the extension housing section even though they were all from differant cars
