There are already alot of car clubs in tassie and i dare say they might already be a toyota club made up of older members, get into contact with shannons they might be able to help u

i think the best way to get beoples word on this is to plan a cruize and make shore the word is out so heaps show up and have it as a meeting throw a few ideas around and see what happens

Stay with Toymods........... But have a link on the main forums page Toymods TAS! (perhaps under current Classifieds thread), then have "Local Classifieds", "Local Events and Cruses" and "Local Members Rides" as the main threads.

So we work as a division of a whole (meaning memberships ect are still done by current Mods and President) but we have a State President down here to keep things organized for the state.

We have the numbers down here and id be happy to keep things organized for the coast, just need your support fellas and ill start talking to the mods.

There is a strong enough presence for this to happen in tas, well a few weeks back Toymods! could have competed in Dev's Car show...... There was already the following there a MS55, a MS85, 2 x KE10, 1 x KE15, a RT83......... and not one of them are toymods members.
The numbers are here, we just need a President and a better setup for the Tassie section.

FYI OzCelica has about 4 cruises a year, so expanding that to all Toyotas there's plenty of numbers. As said above, we just need better organissed forum topics, a leader, and some interesting topics in the Tas section to keep people interested while theres no cruise on

Totally agree with what Dennis has said but the problem will be is that there is one lot of Toymodders down south,one lot on the north east and lastly us on the north west.So how will one president work? Or on the other hand is have a state president for the whole of Tassie and have say vice presidents for each of the areas around Tassie who can all work with the state president.In other words use the old chain of command tactic.
I"m more than welcome to give each and everyone on here from Tassie and elsewhere a helping hand with things but what would first need to happen is an all in get together to meet each other and get to know each others needs and wants.If Dennis is willing to contact the moderators to see how we can go then that will be the first step to be a paying member of Toymods within our own state and then we can start organising our own things within Toymods rules and regulations.
Sorry to have dragged this on a bit but me being probably one of the oldest Tassie Toymodders just wanted to voice my opinions the way I myself see it.

And there are those of us who live on the coast and down south for uni. Thats probably just me. Tassie isnt that big its not that hard to get together. Its a good idea i think.

i reckon it might be a bit complicated and annoying with heaps of vice presidents n stuff. I reckon just one would be fine. And as for meetings prehaps a couple of year or something, one north and one south or something.

so what are we waiting for we all want a president so lets take a step forward and select one and then we can start getting stronger as a club it seams everyone likes the idea of a president so we can go ahead and do that
i dont think we need vice presidents as long as there is a few people in all areas that will get together and make plans
